Tank cleaning with TAK is a clean and quick process! As the operator of a tank system, you are responsible for complying with legal requirements. Natural sediments, condensation and external contamination can limit the operational performance of your tank. You can avoid operational disruptions or even breakdowns with timely and regular tank cleaning.
Over time, an aggressive oil-water sludge mixture builds up on the bottom of every oil tank. Even high-quality heating oil cannot prevent these residues from forming in the tank due to sediment, foreign matter and condensation. In steel tanks, aggressive deposits can lead to corrosion and thus decompose the tank wall. In addition, the suspended matter contained in every oil gets into the oil-carrying pipes and can cause the burner to stop working.
If the residues remain in the tank for too long, it is often too late for protective measures or repairs.
With this in mind, regular preventive measures are worthwhile. TAK carries out tank cleaning in a way that is gentle on materials, efficient and cost-effective. How does tank cleaning work?
Before the tank is cleaned, the clean oil is sucked out and passed through a filter into one of our special vehicles for temporary storage. The oil sludge on the bottom of the tank is then removed and disposed of properly. Even stubborn deposits are thoroughly loosened and then sucked out. Once the tank has been cleaned, the clean oil is filtered and pumped back into your tank.
